Where
Where it's used
PMAC lists floors at Facebook's office at East Point, Zendesk on Charlemont Quay and the Aparto student accommodation at Dorset Point. Offices, shops, showrooms, cafés, gyms and warehouses use it for the same reasons: the slab is already there, and there's nothing on top to wear out.
The case
The case for a business
- Upkeep. PMAC claims a life cycle cost up to 60% lower than traditional floor coverings, its own figure.
- Use straight away. PMAC says floors can be used immediately after polishing.
- Slip. As slip resistant as polished marble, granite or porcelain; R10 takes a slip resistant coating (PMAC). Ask for the rating in writing for wet areas and entrances.
- Scale. Larger areas are cheaper a m².
